Allanbank Arts is a vibrant friendly art centre based in the eastern Scottish Borders. Our home was the 18th century former coach house for the Blackadder estate but we are now out and about in the community, mainly in The Scottish Borders and Northumberland but we love a road trip and are always happy to travel further afield!
Run by practicing artists Liz Hardy and Justine Miller we work extensively in the wider community and have a strong reputation for our innovative work with young people with a diverse range of backgrounds and challenges. As a social enterprise we put young people at the heart of all that we do.
Over the last year we have hosted exhibitions, built installations, worked with many different people, businesses, charities and schools, supported young people and adults with complex needs, run successful pilot projects, made art outside even in the snow, made a film about the voluntary sector and even found time for our own work.
Please get in touch if you would like to work with us, no project is too big or too small and we would love to hear from you.
