Kid’s Art Club gives young people a safe, inclusive, enabling environment to explore and express their own creativity and to find out what subject matter, materials and techniques they like using to show and develop their ideas. We hope to build confidence and individuality, showing that everyone has their own way of doing things and that there is no such thing as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ art.

Here at Allanbank Arts we encourage our young people to
work and think like artists. Every attendee will be welcomed
and encouraged to their full artistic potential using a variety
of media. Each week we will study a different artist looking
at the way they work, the materials they use and
their subject matter. In doing this we aim to broaden
artistic horizons, be inspired and to then use this new
found knowledge to experiment within our own work.
Most importantly though we want all our young people to
have fun!
